Peacock Reveals New Official Trailer For Thriller Series ‘Hysteria!’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peacock has just revealed new official trailer for the thriller series Hysteria! The series is scheduled to premiere on the streamer on Friday, October 18.

Created by Matthew Scott Kane (Annabelle Comes Home, The Comedians), the series follows three high schoolers who are part of a heavy metal band that leans into the fear created after the high school quarterback ends up going missing and afterward, a pentagram drawn in paint appears on his garage Once the band leads into a more satanic image, they realize they ended up unleashing forces they were not prepared for, both among their peers and, possibly, with something otherworldly. The trailer shows a teenage girl being abducted by a creepy intruder wearing a mask and a woman being stalked by an unseen force.

The cast for the series includes Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect, The Help) as Tracy, horror icon Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, Army of Darkness) as Chief Dandrige, Garret Dillahunt (Raising Hope, Deadwood) as The Reverend, Nolan North (Solar Opposites, Pretty Little Liars) as Gene, Elijah Richardson (King Jack, Hollywood Stargirl) as Cliff, Milly Shapiro (Hereditary, Monkey Bars) as Ingrid, Allison Scagliotti (Raven’s Home, That Girl Lay Lay) as Officer Olsen, Jessica Treska (Sharp Objects, Good Girls) as Judith, Julie Bowen (Happy Gilmore, Modern Family) as Linda, Chiara Aurelia (Meet Cute, Luckiest Girl Alive) as Jordy, Emjay Anthony (The Kiss List, Council of Dads) as Dylan, Nikki Hahn (American Horror Story, Adventures in Babysitting) as Faith, Kezii Curtis (The Thundermans, Dolemite Is My Name) as Spud and many others.

Hysteria! is being produced by Universal Studio Group’s UCP. Kane serves as executive producer alongside David A. Goodman (Family Guy, The Orville), John Francis Daley (Drunk History, Bottom Butte) and Jonathan Goldstein (In the Dark, Horrible Bosses), Good Fear Content’s Chris Bender (Mulan, I Am Number Four), Jake Weiner (Criminal, Leap Year) and Jordan Voght-Roberts (You’re the Worst, Kong: Skull Island), who directed the first and last episodes of the season.
