

James Gunn’s Peacemaker’s second season made its way into the tenth place spot when it came to the Nielsen streaming charts. Despite the first season not making the charts, the second season was able to make its mark on the charts.
After the second season came to a close the series managed to make its way to the tenth place, of the charts due to its decline in viewership. The show managed to amass 398 million minutes worth of views when it came to its season finale. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the season two finale of Peacemaker only accounted for 42% of the total viewership.
What took the Number one spot on the Nielsen streaming charts was Ryan Murphy’s anthology series, Monster: The Ed Gein Story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, series was able to hold a viewer count of 2.31 billion viewing minutes for the week. The show had a 51% improvement over a week earlier. There was a second show that had a viewer count in the billions which was Love is Blind, with a viewer count of 1.11 billion on Netflix. Coming in third place was Halo on Paramount and was then moved to Netflix with a view count of 517 million minutes. In fourth place was Is it Cake? Halloween on Netflix with 512 million minutes. In fifth place was Tulsa King on Paramount+ with 509 million minutes. Taking sixth place was Wayward on Netflix with 505 million minutes.In seventh place was The Great British Baking Show on Netflix with 474 million minutes. In eighth place was Boots, on Netflix with 434 million minutes. Finally, in ninth place was Netflix’s Wednesday with 426 million minutes. The Nielsen streaming ratings covered these streaming titles for October 6th through the 12th of 20205.
As for the DCU project James Gunn has confirmed that Peacemaker would not be renewed for a third season.
