Paul Rudd To Star In Netflix Comedy ‘Living With Yourself’

Paul Rudd is starring as the two lead characters in his first television show, Living With Yourself. Rudd has previously guest starred on shows such as Friends, Parks and Recreations, Sisters, Veronica Mars, First Day at Camp, and Ten Years Later. More recently he is known for his work as the Marvel superhero Ant-Man in Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and The Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame. This will be Rudd’s first lead role in a television series.

Living With Yourself stars Paul Rudd as Miles, who is a man struggling with his marriage and work life. One of his colleagues tells him about a new spa treatment that will make him a better person. So, he goes through the process and he learns that there is a new and improved version of himself walking around in the world. Problems start to arise as he learns how to deal with the unintended consequences of his choices with his wife, played by Aisling Bea, his career, and his identity.

On Thursday, Netflix released numerous new photos for the show. The feature Paul Rudd as Miles and the new and improved Miles. As well as show him and Aisling Bea.

The series was created by Timothy Greenberg, known for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It is also directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valeria Faris, who co-directed Little Miss Sunshine and The Battle of the Sexes. Anthony Bregman, known for his work on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Jeff Stern, known for his work in Looking, will executive produce the show for the production company Likely Story along with Tony Hernandez, who worked on Younger, for Jax Media, Dayton, Faris, Rudd, and Jeff Blitz, who worked on Trial and Error.

The eight-episode series will premiere on Netflix on Friday, October 18.
