According to BBC, Danan’s death was confirmed by his management company, who described him as a person with “exceptional talent and unwavering kindness.” They also referred to him as a “beacon of light” to many.
His management company, Independent Creative Management, shared a statement on Thursday, saying, “His untimely departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him.” Danan’s legacy includes his podcast, The Morning After With Paul Danan, which ran from 2019 to 2023, as well as appearances on Celebrity Coach Trip and The Kevin Bishop Show. At one point, he was also a regular in the tabloids, known for his celebrity lifestyle.
Danan had recently faced legal issues, including charges for possessing cocaine and cannabis. Last October, he was also accused of driving under the influence of drugs in Cheshire. However, police have confirmed that his death, which occurred on January 15 in Brislington, Bristol, is not being treated as suspicious. Paramedics declared him deceased after officers arrived at the property around 5:20 p.m. The cause of death has not been made public.
