Variety has reported that Rising star Paul Anthony Kelley (Love Story, Body Language) has secured another role. Kelley will attempt to show off his range in American Horror Story season 13, a departure from his heart-rob role as John F. Kennedy Jr. in American Love Story.
His role and plot details for the upcoming season have yet to be released. Fx’s current log line is as follows: “Which iconic horrors will return to haunt the hallowed halls of 13 and what new terrors await? Light your candles, draw your pentagrams and prepare for a supreme surprise,” via Variety. One thing fans do know is that several iconic characters will appear, including Sarah Paulson’s (Twelve Years A Slave, The Bear) Cordelia Good, from the series’s third season, Coven.
Fellow cast members Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Basset (Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Gabourey Sidibe (Tower Heist, Seven Pyschpaths), Billie Lourd (The Pirate King, Stars Wars Episode XI: The Force Awakens), and Emma Roberts (We’re The Millers, Hotel For Dogs) welcomed Kelley at Disney’s upfronts. Kelley emerged from his castmates dressed in hooded robes and stated, ” Guess every nightmare needs fresh blood, and 13’s my lucky number,” via Deadline. Other season 13 cast members include Ariana Grande (Scream Queens, Sam & Cat), Kathy Bates (Fried Green Tomatoes, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret), and Leslie Grossman (The Good Place, Popular).
The series was created by Ryan Murphy (American Sports Story, Love Story) and Brad Falchuk (Glee, 9-1-1: Lone Star). Joining them as executive producers are Ned Martel (The Boys In The Band, Glee) Charlie Carver (The Beauty, American Horror Stories), Eric Kovtun (Ratched, The Watcher), Nissa Diederich (All’s Fair, The Beauty), Scott Robertson (Love Story, Blonde), Tanase Popa (American Crime Story, Pose), Crystle Roberson Dorsey (The Gilded Age, Queens), Jennifer Salt (Sisters, Play It Again, Sam), and Tim Minear (Firefly, Angel).
