Another day of Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil has revealed a new first look at Paramount+’s upcoming thriller series, Wolf Pack. According to Comicbook.com, attendees of the event hosted in Sao Paolo viewed a sneak peek clip from the series which is a spinoff of the successful MTV show, Teen Wolf. View the clip below posted by the Wolf Pack Twitter account.
In the preview clip, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cruel Intentions), who plays Kristin Ramsey, confronts Rodgrio Santoro’s (Westworld, 7 Prisoners) Garrett Briggs about an elusive animal sighting. While they agree the alleged animal can be hunted and killed like anything else, the subtext hints that this isn’t a normal creature. As Garrett turns to walk away from Kristin, he opens his palm to reveal a silver bullet. In monster lore, silver bullets are known to be the lone weapon that kills werewolves.
Based on the YA novels written by Edo Van Belkom (Wolf Man, Cry Wolf), Wolf Pack centers on two teenagers who survive a mysterious attack following wildfires in their California town. In the days to come, the total strangers become drawn to each other, as well as two fraternal twins who experienced similar attacks years ago under the same circumstances. Each wildfire and attack coincided with a full moon. Soon the foursome realizes what connects them and, more importantly, what they have become.
According to Comicbook.com, the series stars Armani Jackson (Little Boxes, Honor Society), Bella Shepard (On the Ropes, A Girl Named Jo), Chloe Rose Robertson (Wildflower), and Tyler Lawrence Gray (Feeling Randy, KidCoin) as our main leads: Everett, Blake, Luna, and Harlan, respectively. The supporting cast includes Amy Pietz (Dynasty, Caroline in the City), Bria Brummer (Doom Patrol, P-Valley), John L. Adams (The Dead Zone, NCIS), and Sean Philip Glasgow (Diary of a Future President, Raven’s Home).
Starring in recurring roles will be James Martinez (Run All Night, God Friended Me), Bailey Stender (iCarly, Crushed), Zack Nelson (The Rookie, Love, Victor), Chase Liefeld (Honor Student, Chang Can Dunk), Stella Smith (Stargirl, Black Lightning), Hollie Bahar (Westworld, Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story), Lanny Joon (Baby Driver, Takers), and Rio Mangini (Home Before Dark, Everything Sucks).
Wolf Pack is set to premiere on Paramount+ on January 26, 2023.
