According to Deadline, Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the second season of 1923. The Yellowstone prequel spinoff will see the Duttons as they face economic hardship with the new season dealing with a war looming in the Montana highlands. The new season of the crime Western will premiere on Paramount+ on February 23.

1923 is a prequel series to the popular Yellowstone franchise and continues to follow the story of the Dutton family. In the series, the Dutton family deals with prohibition, drought, and the early stages of the Great Depression as well as family matters.
The cast of the series includes Harrison Ford (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Helen Mirren (Moriarty: The Silent Order), Brandon Sklenar (Green and Gold), Sebastian Roche (The Man in the High Castle), Darren Mann (The Minute You Wake up Dead), Aminah Nieves (The Demon of Dumbo), Michelle Randolph (Landman), Julia Schlaepfer (American Horror Stories), Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker), Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones), Isabel May (Alexa & Katie), Caleb Martin (Don’t Say My Name) and many others.
As per Deadline, the logline for the new seasons is as follow: “In the second season of 1923, a cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob (Ford) and Cara (Mirren) back at Dutton ranch. With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer (Sklenar) embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Schlaepfer) sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love.”
