

According to Deadline, viewership rates for season two have been higher than the previous season since its February release. Paramount Global reports a 56% increase in viewership since its premiere.
Deadline reported that the season two premiere has 17 million viewers, which is 41% higher than its season one counterpart. 5.4 million viewers tuned in when the first day the episode released, which is 146% more than the season one premiere.
Deadline layed out the plot of the newest season. In Season 2, the Dutton family faces relentless challenges as a harsh winter and unresolved conflicts threaten their legacy. While Jacob (Harrison Ford, Shrinking, Raiders of the Lost Ark) and Cara (Helen Mirren, Red, Prime Suspect ) struggle to protect the ranch from mounting dangers, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar, It Ends With Us, Drop ) races against time on a dangerous journey back to Montana to save his family. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer, The Politician, Yellowstone:1923) braves her own perilous trans-Atlantic voyage, determined to reunite with Spencer and restore their love.
