Oprah Winfrey’s television network OWN has announced the return of three of their original series including Iyanla: Fix My Life, Raising Whitley and Life with LaToya. All shows air on Saturday nights.
On the additional episodes of these series, president of OWN, Erik Logan, has said, “We have seen tremendous ratings growth this year and much of that success is attributed to the performance of our Saturday night series,” according to Indiewire.
Iyanla: Fix My Life will have six more episodes, Raising Whitley ten episodes and Life with LaToya will have twelve additional episodes. Iyanla: Fix My Life will air July 20, while Raising Whitley and Life with LaToya will begin their next seasons in 2014, as reported by Indiewire.
Sheri Salata, OWN president has said, “These series have been instrumental in our efforts to build a lineup of programs that appeal to viewers across multiple genres…the new episodes will continue to deliver insight, laughter, inspiration and entertainment for our expanding audience,” posted the Hollywood Reporter.
