‘Outlander’ Lands Official Season Seven Premiere Date

“World Outlander Day” did not disappoint fans and viewers of the popular series. Starz has recently dropped some major information in bulk surrounding the series Outlander. According to Deadline, the series has now officially dropped its premiere date, has released a new teaser trailer, and has made additions to the upcoming cast. 

According to Deadline, the premiere for the second half of the new Outlander Season 7 will be dropping on the Starz app and Starz streaming/on-demand on Friday, November 22. With that, new episodes will be dropping weekly on the same platforms. They will be arriving on the platforms at 8 pm EST.

As well as the announcement of the premiere date, Starz has also announced that there are some additions to the cast. The newest members of the cast include Kieran Bew (House of the Dragon), Frances Tomelty (Woman in the Wall), and Carla Woodcock (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder).

Season seven part two will be bringing the characters of Claire, Jamie, and Ian out of the US colonies, and back home overseas to Scotland. With the backdrop of the Revolutionary War, the three are faced with the choice of standing with the people they love and know to be home, or with the land that they had made their new home. With that, the characters of Roger and Brianna are benign faced with new enemies and forces that are trying to tear their family apart. The two’s marriage is being put to the test as loyalties are being put on trial and secrets are slowly starting to creep to the surface. The question everyone is asking is, can the two families make their way back to each other or will time and oceans separate them at last?

The series is based off of a novel of the same name by Diana Gabaldon which has sold approx. 50 million copies. The final part of the seventh season of Outlander is in production and will bring the new season to 10 episodes.
