The hunt for gold continues as Netflix announced on Wednesday that season two of Outer Banks will premiere on July 30. Accompanied by the arrival of the first trailer for the second season, the gang is back together as they once again search for buried treasure, via Entertainment Weekly

A short, minute-long teaser trailer, all the major players for season one has returned, with Chase Stokes (Stranger Things) as John B., Madelyn Cline (Stranger Things) as Sara Cameron, Rudy Pankow (The Politician) as JJ, Madison Bailey (Black Lightning) as Kiara, and Jonathan Daviss (Shattered Memories) as Pope.

Picking up where season one left off, the trailer released on Wednesday shows the remainder of the Pogues, Pope, JJ. and Kiara, holding a memorial like service for John B. and Sara, believing them to have drowned in the storm during the season one finale. They raise a drink to their friends, clueless to the fact that the pair did indeed survive and are now hiding out in the Bahamas. The trailer then transitions to reveal John B and Sara living on the beach in the Bahamas, but it’s not necessarily paradise. They remain in danger and on the run as John B refuses to give up on searching for the same treasure his father searched for all those years ago.

Coming to Netflix on July 30, the sophomore season will consist of ten episodes. During its initial first season run, Outer Banks quickly became the most watched program on Netflix. Many compared it to films such as The Goonies, with its ban of misfits coming together to hunt for a treasure that may or may not exist.

Other questions that remain as we head into season two is what Sara’s dad and antagonist of the series, Ward Cameron will do. As he remains hot on the Pogues tail and hungry for the treasure, he also now has to protect his son. Another shocker and cliff hanger during the season one finale was when Rafe Cameron, portrayed by Drew Starker (The Devil All the Time), murdered the Sheriff in town, played by Adina Porter (American Horror Story). With many questions lingering, a month-and-a half still feels so far away.
