Oscar-Winning Director to Helm “Line of Sight”

AMC’s Line of Sight pilot has found its director: Jonathan Demme, who won an Oscar for directing “the Silence of the Lambs” in 1992.

Line of Sight tells the story of Lewis Bernt, a National Transportation Safety Board investigator who survives a mysterious plane crash. Bernt’s world begins to fall apart as he searches for answers about the incident.

In addition to his feature film work, Demme has directed episodes of Enlightened and the short-lived A Gifted Man. He will also serve as an executive producer on Line of Sight.

Per Deadline, this pilot will be AMC’s first sci-fi project. There has been no word yet on when production will begin.
