‘Only Murders In The Building’ Season Four Adds Richard Kind, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Catherine Cohen And Jin Ha To The Cast

It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Hulu’s Emmy nominated series Only Murders in the Building has added some more star power to the cast of season four. According to Deadline, the comedy has added Richard Kind (Mad About You), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent), Catherine Cohen (What We Do in the Shadows)and Jin Ha (Pachinko) to the cast.

The newest quad addition will be appearing in the season with recurring roles. Although there is little to no information regarding the details of the latest season of Only Murders, little by little the news of new members who are being announced to join the ever-growing cast is being released.

The new cast members have done plenty of well-known work in TV and film. Kind has appeared in series such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad About You and the Peacock TV Film Mr. Monk’s Last Case. Rubin-Vega has been a notable theater actor with credits such as Mimi in the original cast of Rent, where she earned a Tony nomination. Cohen is known for her standup comedy such as her hit Netflix special The Twist…? She’s Gorgeous and also her work in the TV series What We Do In The Shadows. Ha has recently starred in the AppleTV+ series Pachinko, a series adapted from a novel of the same name.

Other than the new cast members, Deadline did report that there are small details of what the new season will be  about that the public does know. What is known is that the new season will revolve around trying to pick apart the murder of Sazz Tataki, played by Jane Lynch. Other than this, there is very little known to the public regarding the new season, just like any other good whodunnit.

Only Murders in the Building has been announcing new cast members all year. Rubin Vega, Kind, Cohen and Ha will be joining a stacked cast that now includes Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live), Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover), Desmin Borges (You’re The Worst), Siena Werber (Cherry Flavor) and Lilian Rebelo (Ballad of the Bathroom Floor). Meryl Streep (Mamma Mia) will also return to the series reprising her role from season 3. Steve Martin (Cheaper By The Dozen), Martin Short (Father of the Bride) and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) will also return as the beloved titular trio.
