According to Comicbook, an official trailer for the second season of the popular anime DanDaDan has been released ahead of the series release and gives glimpse into the adventures our group of heroes will encounter. According to a mxdwn post, the finale of the anime ended with Okarun, voiced by AJ Beckles (Tower of God) and Jiji, voiced by Aleks Le (Dorohedoro), discovering a hallowed space within his house that was filled with numerous talismans, and then cut over to Momo, voiced by Abby Trott (Fate/ Grand Carnival), soaking in the hot springs but then attacked by unknown entities.
According to Comicbook, the trailer was released by Jump Viesta via the year’s Shonen catalog, which gives a glimpse into the second season, which is scheduled for July 2025 and covers the Evil Eye Arc within the manga. The trailer showcased the trio, along with Turbo Granny, voiced by Barbara Goodson (Belle), fighting against the unknown spirits and learning about the dark history behind Jiji’s house; later on, we then see Jiji possessed by the unknown spirit and transformed into his evil eye form.
The stakes are higher than ever in the second season, as the group will have to push past their limits in order to escape the looming threats within the haunted house. According to Comicbook,the season will be animated by Science Saru, who combine hand drawn and digital animations to make their work pop out like well-known animes such as Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and Devilman Crybaby.
