According to Deadline, Memory Of A Killer has found new series regular, which already includes Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy, The Truth About The Harry And Quebert Affair), Michael Imperioli (White Lotus, The Many Saints Of Newark), and Richard Harmon (Final Destination: Bloodlines, Alert: Missing Persons Unit). Odeya Rush ( Dangerous Waters, Cha Cha Real Smooth) will join the cast of the Fox Entertainment and Warner Bro’s Television co-production. Barring any delays, it should hit our screens mid-season.
Deadline reports that writers Ed Whitmore (Manhunt, Out There) and Tracey Malone (Born To Kill, Safe House) bring us a thriller inspired by the award-winning 2003 Belgian Film De Zaak Alzheimer (La Memoire Du Tueur). Dempsey plays hitman Angelo Ledda, whose personal and professional life becomes even more complicated after he discovers he has developed early-onset Alzheimer’s.
Via Deadline Rush will take on the role of Angelo’s daughter. Seemingly settled at a young age, married with a child on the way, she will get the latent itch for adventure, possibly a trait passed down from her father. Maria loves her father dearly, and as his disease progresses, she is there to care for him, but as she gets closer, she inches into the dangerous side of his life.
According to Deadline, Cathy Schulman (The Woman King, The First Lady) of Welle Entertainment, David Schulner (New Amsterdam, The Event), Arthur Sarkissian (Rush Hour, Last Man Standing), Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, The Mask Of Zoro) and Peter Bouckaert (The Treatment, Bullhead) of Eyeworks will join Whitmore and Malone as executive producers.
Deadline reports that Rush’s recent work includes Dangerous Waters and Corporate Retreat. Other credits include Cha Cha Real Smooth, Umma, Lady Bird, The Giver, Dumplin’, and Goosebumps. She also had a guest-starring role opposite Larry David in his series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Verve, MGMT Entertainment, and Goodman Genow Shenkman represent her.
