AMC presented two panels back during the 2025 New York City Comic-Con show, showcasing Anne Rice’s (The Queen of the Dammed, The Witching Hour) Immortal Universe and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon series. The Immortal Universe opened up with highly anticipated new series, Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order and then switched gears into the new rock-and-roll season of Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat.
During the panel, the guest switched back and forth depending on the series but altogether the guest included Assad Zaman (Apple Tree Yard, The Saint of Southall), Eric Bogosian (Reptile, SubUrbia), Hannah Moscovitch (Played, Little Bird), Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones, Adulthood), Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty, Fifty Shade of Grey), John Lee Hancock (The little Things, The Blind Side), Mark Johnson (Rain Man, The Holdovers), Nicholas Denton (Not Drk Yet, Jones Family Christmas), Sam Reid (Lambs of God, The Newsreader) and William Fichtner (Prison Break, Drive Angry).

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order is a series that was conjured up based on different books that mentioned Talamasca because there is not a novel by Rice that fully focuses on it. During the panel a clip of the series was shown where the characters Guy and Jasper were going back and forth over a book that Jasper wrote and how the Talamasca can’t have the information written in the book. Jasper also explains that he didnt write the page that Guy is most interested in, as he is trying to find out more information about his mother and even tries to read Jasper’s mind, in which Jasper retaliates as he says he doesn’t enjoy someone going through his thoughts.

Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat shows the cast of Interview with the Vampire in a more Rockstar way. They showcase another clip, which served as a trailer for the upcoming series and what is to come from the new rockstar aesthetic installment.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon shared more information on the current season of the series as well as what is to come. The panel guests included David Zabel (Keith, Mercy Street), Greg Nicotero (Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead), Norman Reedus (Ride With Norman Reedus, The Boondock Saints), Scoot M. Gimple (Fillmore!, Tales of the Walking Dead). Reedus took a moment during the panel to have the crowd sing happy birthday to his daughter Nova.
Reedus speaks on the evolution of his character not only throughout The Walking Dead franchise but the series as well. Fans of the franchise got to see a small clip of the final episode of the current season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and see how each series has its own story but is still part of the same universe as Reedus expresses his love for playing the role of Daryl and everything that goes into creating the series.

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order premieres on October 26 and Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat will air in 2026. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is currently airing its third season with its fourth season scheduled for 2026. All series are available to stream on AMC+.
