Deadline has reported that the hosts and the entire list of nominations for the 26th Family Film and TV Awards have been announced by CBS. The award show will air on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+ on January 27th. It will be hosted by Amanda Kloots (The Talk, The Irishman) and Akbar Gbajabiamila (American Ninja Warrior, Fight to Survive).
The Family Film and TV Awards showcase the importance of entertainment for families. According to Deadline, tt was first produced by Dick Clark (The Dick Clark Show, Where the Action Is) and aired on CBS in 1996. The winners will be picked from the 11 categories by a group of Popstar! Magazine readers and celebrities, as well as industry experts, throughout the broadcast of the show.
Deadline reports the nominations for Outstanding Actors in a TV Series include Rosario Dawson (Haunted Mansion, Trance) for Ahsoka, Beth Behrs (2 Broke Girls, American Pie Presents: The Book of Love) for The Neighborhood, Rob Lowe (The West Wing, Parks and Recreation) for Unstable, Tim Allen (Last Man Standing, Home Improvement) for The Santa Clauses, Cedric the Entertainer (Barbershop, The Steve Harvey Show) for The Neighborhood, and Patrick Stewart (Logan, X-Men) for Star Trek: Picard.
The nominations for Best Iconic Classic Series are The Brady Bunch, Family Matters, The Dick Van Dyke Show, I Love Lucy, and Full House.
Family Feud, The Price Is Right, Let’s Make A Deal, Jeopardy!, and Wheel of Fortune make up the nominations for Best Gameshow.
The nominations for Best Ensemble Series include Unstable, Percy Jackson and The Olympians, Loki, Star Trek: Picard, and The Neighborhood.
