A new animated series, The Loud House, from first-time creator Chris Savino will hit Nickelodeon.
According to Deadline, Nick ordered 13 episodes of the animated series about 11-year-old Lincoln and his chaotic life with his 10 sisters. It comes from Nick’s 2013 Animated Shorts Program. This short comes from Savino who is known for Rocko’s Modern Life, The Powerpuff Girls, and many more animated series.
This will be the first project from the initiative that launched in 2012. It was created to give animated shorts the chance at becoming a possible series. Nick has also announced the finalists of the 2014 Animated Shorts Program they include Francine (Katie Crown), Meat Pie vs. the Dark Ages (Gabe Swarr), Shelf Life (Robert Iza), Summer Memories (Adam Yaniz), Ice Station Zedonk (Tom Parkinson), Night Crew (Caitlin Boyle & Tara Helfer), Planet Claire (Chris Viscardi & Will McRobb), The Outsiders (Eric Bravo), Leander, Dr and Cuppy (Monica Ray), Ugly Mutt (Shadi Petosky & Dave Hagen), and Bad News Bunny (Tarryn Henderson).
