Nick Zano, who is better known for his performance in comedy, is going to take on a large role in a new and upcoming drama, Minority Report, for Fox Television (via Variety).
The show centers around Dash played by Stark Sands (Inside Llewyn Davis) and his other counter part, Meagan Good (Think Like a Man) who plays Lara. But now both Sands and Good have another costar, Nick Zano (What I Like About You).
Set in Washington in the year 2065, Dash is a “pre-cog” who is trying to stop crimes. A pre-cog is one who can see crimes before they actually happen. These pre-cogs were created in order to help the “Precrime” system that was formed and destroyed in the film adaptation of Minority Report. Precrime is an administration that sought to detain criminals before they committed a crime. Ten years after the fall of the system, Precrime, the story of Minority Report begins. The television series will follow Dash trying to stop murders from occurring, but the show will also be centered around his twin, Arthur. Nick Zano plays Sands’ (fraternal) twin brother, who is also a pre-cog. Arthur is a stark contrast to Dash’s character within the story. While Dash tries to achieve the role of hero with the help of his abilities, Arthur only seeks to reap materialistic benefits (via The Hollywood Reporter). Sands was originally cast as both twins but now Zano is fulfilling the role of one.
