The journey throughout the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again  has been filled with challenges for Matt Murdock, portrayed by Charlie Cox (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Kin). The story begins with the death of Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson (Luke Cage,The Mighty Ducks). Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio (Men in Black,Law & Order), has declared martial law against all vigilantes. According to Comicbook, the season finale features Matt and Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll (Escape Room,True Blood), trying to find evidence that links Vanessa Fisk, portrayed by Ayelet Zurer (Last Knights, Man of Steel), to the death of their friend. Throughout their investigation, they also uncover the truth behind Fisk’s new project.

According to Comicbook, Cox in an interview with TVLine, describes how the world around them has changed in the second season.” We are living in a very oppressive, claustrophobic New York. You’re frightened to be out, to be seen. You can’t voice your concerns, your desire for change… It’s very French Resistance.”

Cox continued with stating that Woll’s character will have major importance within the second season. “Thank God. Some of the stuff she’s up to is some of the coolest stuff she’s ever had. She’s amazing in this season.” According to Comicbook, there is a possibility of a surprise appearance in the second season by none other than the super-powered private eye, Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Sonic 3).

This isn’t the first time they have teamed up; they previously worked together in The Defenders, alongside Luke Cage, portrayed by Mike Colter (Plane, Evil), and Iron Fist, played by Finn Jones (Game of Thrones, Awake). According to Comicbook, it promises to be an exciting journey as we watch how Daredevil, the Punisher—played by Jon Bernthal (The Accountant 2, The Walking Dead)—and the other vigilantes plan to take down Fisk and restore order to New York.

While fans patiently await on further news surrounding the future second season, the entire first season of Daredevil:Born Again is available to stream on Disney+.
