New Trailer Released for Ellie Kemper’s Final Season of ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ on Netflix

Three seasons ago, we were introduced to one of Netflix’s best sitcom series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Tina Fey and Robert Carlock created story so unique, yet relatable to fans that it became an instant hit. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. The second half of season four is the show’s last episodes on the streaming service. Fans can cherish Kimmy’s (Ellie Kemper) last moments with six more episodes.

Kimmy Schmidt is a young woman with childlike mannerisms and an optimistic view of life. Having been held captive for 15 years in a bunker made Schmidt miss out the transition from a kid to an adult. Now that she is free, she moves to New York with the determination to succeed at life all the while being haunted by her past.

Kemper is still reeling in from the show ending so soon. “We were filming the fourth season and we found out as we were filming it that it would be the final season,” Kemper said. “In streaming age, that is actually like a fully lived life and feels like we had a lot of episodes given the world we live in now. But it still felt sad because I love these characters, I love the people I get to work with and so it’s just a little bit of a loss.”

Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess) is not only one of the most extra characters on the show, but he is also fan favorite. With his infectious facial expressions and on-screen chemistry with Kemper, Burgess shined in the role. In an interview with Buzzfeed, Burgess was sad to say goodbye to an iconic character. “I love those people and I cannot believe it’s gone by so fast,” said Burgess. “It’s gone so fast! Hopefully, Netflix is forever. Online is forever, so hopefully, you’ll have it forever.”
