With the upcoming Godzilla TV show approaching, news has surfaced that new titans will also be introduced. According to Screenrant, Shakman excitedly stated,”One of the great things about this was the chance to create new Titans, new monsters to add to the Monsterverse. So, that’s a part of it. Using folks that we know and love from before is also a part of it. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is sure to delve into the mysteries behind the organization, Monarch, how they were first formed, and what their plans are. The show takes place back in the 1950s, which happened before the events of Kong: Skull Island.”
According to Screenrant, director Matt Shakman(WandaVision) explained “one of the great things about this was the chance to create new Titans, new monsters to add to the Monsterverse”. The show will feature a mix of returning and new characters. The cast of the show will star Anna Sawai(Fast X), Ken Watanabe(Inception), and Kyle Chandler(Super 8). Monarch: Legacy of Monsters will not only introduce new titans but also portray famous ones in a creative style, such as Godzilla, Kong, etc in new and creative ways to further connect the stories. It will be exciting to see how the show-runners connect the stories of the other films and portray Godzilla and Kong in new and innovative ways.
