Only a couple of months after announcing his new production company, Electric Avenue, and his CBS TV Studios first-look deal, Will Arnett has already sold his first comedy.
Titled How Not to Calm a Child On a Plane, the 30-minute clever sitcom will be streaming on the CBS network. Parallel to Johanna Stein’s book off which it is based, the show will feature two rather unconventional parents who are raising their child by their own rules – ignoring whatever is printed in Parenting 101.
Stein’s book, which was published earlier this year, consists of a series of autobiographical essay which tell the tales of her experiences as a first-time mother. It is only fitting that Stein write the pilot episode, alongside Suburgatoy’s Adam Barr. Add Arnett into the mix of executive producers and the show is sure to be a hit.
