New HBO ‘Flight of the Concords’ Show Confirmed

Everybody’s favorite musical comedy duo from New Zealand is returning to HBO. In an interview with The Guardian this week, Jermaine Clement confirmed that he and Bret McKenzie have a new, four episode series for the network.

Although the mini series is not an official Flight of the Concords production, both halves of the duo are signed on to at least appear in the mini series. Flight of the Concords enjoyed a 2 season, 22 episode run on HBO which ended in 2009 and ended despite largely positive responses to the show. The new mini series will certainly leaves fans both old and new wanting more from the comedians.
