Netflix’s ‘The Night Agent’ Releases The Official Trailer For Its Second Season

Night Action agent Peter Sutherland, portrayed by Gabriel Basso (Trigger Warning, The Whole Truth), has a new action-packed journey to face in the official trailer for the second season of the Netflix hit drama series The Night Agent, with additional photos included, Deadline reports. The actor is seen running, jumping into a river, shooting and getting into violent fights. The trailer is embedded below.

According to Deadline, the trailer introduces the new characters of the upcoming second season. For example, the new boss, Catherine Weaver, played by Amanda Warren (East New York, The Purge), is seen in the trailer. It also shows the locations where the show was shot: New York and Thailand.

“We have a mole selling leaked American intelligence to the highest bidder, and last night someone stole enough experimental weapons to wipe out Manhattan,” the fiery agent says in the trailer via Deadline, which proclaims that “The fate of the nation relies on one man.”

According to Deadline, this is backed up by an important scene that determines what Peter’s character will explain to Catherine in the next one, as she points a gun at him, saying, “I’m doing this myself. Shoot me or get out of my way.”

According to Deadline, based on the novel written by Matthew Quirk (Red Warning, The Directive), The Night Agent is created, show-run and executive-produced by Shawn Ryan (S.W.A.T., The Shield) through the MiddKid Productions banner, which he owns. David Beaubaire (Fatherhood, Men in Black: International), Seth Gordon (The Lost City, Cry Wolf), Julia Gunn (The Lost City, United We Fall), Marney Hochman (Timeless, Beverly Hills Cop), Paul Neinstein (Abigail, Scream VI), William Sherak (Ready Or Not, Godzilla), Nicole Tossou (The Worst Best Man), James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, Independence Day: Resurge), Paul Bernard (State Of Grace, Dragonball Evolution) and Munis Rashid (S.W.A.T., Bobo) also executive produce. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television.

The first season of The Night Agent is available to stream on Netflix. The exclusive season two photos are available here.
