

According to Deadline, The Hunting Wives will be adding three new cast members to their season two. John Stamos (Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, Fuller House), Dale Dickey (Clark & Gerard, Bookie) and Cam Gigandet (Boris IS Dead, Second Chances) will all be joining the cast in reoccurring roles.
The second season will include existing cast members, Brittney Snow (Murdaugh: Death in the Family, The Beast in Me), Malin Akerman (Perfectly Imperfect, Let’s Love), Jamie Ray Newman (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, The Big Cigar), Dermot Mulroney (November 1963, The Hunting Perectly Imperfect), Evan Jonigkeit (Henry Johnson, Weak Layers), George Ferrier (Sweet Tooth, On Of Us is Lying), Karen Rodriguez (Incoming, Swarm), Hunter Emery (The Penguin, The Equalizer)and Branton Box (The Walking Dead, Miracle in the Valley).
Deadline stated that The Hunting Wives is based on the novel by May Cobb (Knife Fight, House of Payne) and is produced by Lionsgate Television and 3 Arts Entertainment. Created by Rebecca Cutter (Boston Blue, The Mentalist) The series follows a family when the move from Boston to Texas where they find themselves in the mix of obsession, seduction and murder.
Deadline also noted that the season two log line is: “Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together , As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?” In this season is where the viewers will see Sophia (Snow) and Margo (Akerman) are not speaking to one another, but soon old secrets start to surface and the duo are forced to engage with each other. Than the old question arises, “Are the the hunters or the hunted?”
Deadline added that the first season premiered in the US on Netflix on July 21 and within five weeks it made made the global top ten TV list with over 20 million views. During the first five weeks, this was only available in the US.
