Netflix’s ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’ Acquires Two New Actors For Its Hostage Thriller Series

Netflix is no stranger when it comes to the genre of thrillers. Examples of these are Bird Box, A Haunting of Hill House, and the Fear Street trilogy. So it comes to no surprise that Netflix has green lit another thriller project called Rabbit, Rabbit.

For those unaware, the series tells a story about an escaped convict named J-Will, who has been. cornered by law enforcement at truck stop and resorts to taking hostages in order to bargain for his freedom. However, a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator is stuck in a psychological and emotional poker match with J-Will. According to Deadline, Adam Driver (Father Mother Sister Brother, Megalopolis) will play J-Will and Regina Hall (One Battle After Another, O’Dessa) will play the Negotiator named Poppy. It is also important to note that the series has found two new cast members to join the project. The cast members being Odessa Young (Black Rabbit, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere) who will play J-Will’s lover and Will Poulter (Union Country, Pride & Prejudice) who’s role has yet to be announced. Young was most recently seen starring opposite of Jeremy Allen White (The Bear, The Iron Claw) in Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere while also working Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein, Euphoria) in the series, The Narrow Road To The Deep North. While Poulter was recently seen in the Emmy award winning series, The Bear. 

The cast so far consists of Adam Driver (Father Mother Sister Brother, Megalopolis) Odessa Young (Black Rabbit, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere), Will Poulter (Union Country, Pride & Prejudice), and Regina Hall (One Battle After Another, O’Dessa). The showrunner for the series is Peter Craig (Dope Thief, Gladiator II) and joining him are executive producers Philip Barantini (One Shot with Ed Sheeran, Adolescence) Samantha Beddoe (The Accolyte, What’s Love Got to Do with It?), and Bryan Unkeless (Everything’s Going to Be Great, The Watcher).

There has been no release date for the series, so we will have to wait for a teaser trailer in the future.
