Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ Has Apparently Added Its Mr. 11 To The Cast Of The Second Season

The One Piece anime and live-action is pretty busy at the moment, as the creator, Eiichiro Oda (One Piece Film: Red, One Piece: Stampede), is getting his manga on track for the nearing final chapter, and the anime is closely following behind. As for the Netflix live-action, the show continues filming for its second season. On Thursday afternoon, report for a new casting resurfaced on the internet, suggesting that they found the actor that will portray the character of Mr. 11, a Baroque Works member, in season two, Comicbook.com reports.

According to Comicbook.com, the rumor was first seen on the One Piece Live Action community on Discord, which has uncovered previous castings for the show in the past month. The X (formerly Twitter) post embedded below shows that Alan Foulis (Warrior, Invasion) publicly updated his CV, which shows that he will portray Mr. 11.

Netflix has not confirmed anything regarding these castings. According to Comicbook.com, the second season of One Piece has other castings to announce, such as the fan-favorite characters of Nico Robin, known as Miss Sunday, and Tony Tony Chopper, even if fans are not even sure that he will appear in this season’s Arabasta saga.

According to Comicbook.com, Mr.11 is a member of the Baroque Works crew and has Miss Thursday as his partner in crime. Fans first see the character of Mr.11 during the Little Garden arc, but he has a small role in the Arabasta saga. He is introduced when Captain Smoker catches him and manipulates him into telling more about his work.

If anyone is interested in more information about the One Piece live-action, Comicbook.com has available the official synopsis to read below:

“As a child, Monkey D. Luffy was inspired to become a pirate by listening to the tales of the buccaneer “Red-Haired” Shanks. But Luffy’s life changed when he accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit and gained the power to stretch like rubber…at the cost of never being able to swim again! Years later, still vowing to become the king of the pirates, Luffy sets out on his adventure…one guy alone in a rowboat, in search of the legendary “One Piece,” said to be the greatest treasure in the world…”

The first season of One Piece is available now to stream on Netflix.
