Amid the coronavirus outbreak and stay-at-home orders, millions of Americans were stuck at home and streaming television programs at a high rate. Netflix’s docuseries, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, followed the lives of multiple private zookeepers known for owning and operating big cat zoos. With its release, the series was at the top of Netflix’s Top 10 Most Watched Today for more than a week following its debut on March 20. Following the conclusion of the docuseries, fans were asking for more episodes to witness more of the tiger madness. One of Tiger King’s cast of characters, Jeff Lowe announced that there is a new episode upcoming, according to Deadline. This announcement was greeted with excitement from fans, yet there has not been confirmed by the streaming service.
Tiger King centered in particular on the trials and tribulations of the eccentric Oklahoma zookeeper, politician, and country singer, Joe Exotic, who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for a murder-for-hire plot aimed at rival Carole Baskins of Big Cat Rescue. Despite the trial and prison sentence being enough content for a full-length docuseries, Tiger King shocked fans with twists and turns in the lives of its zany cast of zookeepers. Announcing a new episode via Los Angeles Dodgers Justin Turner’s twitter account, Joe Exotic’s former business partner Jeff Lowe advertised for a new episode despite the lack of confirmation from its streaming service. This announcement leaves fans guessing whether this will be from the series’ creators or from Lowe himself.
