Hot on the heels of the wildly successful Luke Cage, Netflix has just announced the release date for their next Marvel series, Iron Fist. The Hollywood Reporter had the story.
All 13 episodes of Iron Fist will be available to stream on Netflix on March 17th, 2017. The show’s twitter page also released a still from the series, featuring Game of Thrones‘ Finn Jones about to take down a faceless goon with his fists. Of iron.

Iron Fist is the fourth television series coming out of Marvel and Netflix’s partnership, which previously produced Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. The new series will follow Danny Rand (played by Jones), a billionaire who uses his mastery of martial arts to rid New York City of corruption as the hero Iron Fist. Scott Buck, who has previously written for and produced popular and critically acclaimed shows like Dexter and Six Feet Under, will act as the showrunner.
Iron Fist is the last member of the superhero team The Defenders, which will be getting its own series sometime in 2017, and will feature Rand, Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) teaming up to defend the streets of New York City.
