Fuller House made its debut on Netflix earlier this year and shortly after its release, the family comedy series was renewed for a second season. Pretty much all the characters from Full House returned including DJ (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), Kimmy (Andrea Barber), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), Danny (Bob Saget), Dave Coulier (Joey), and Scott Weinger (Steve). However, the youngest Tanner from Full House portrayed by Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen did not make an appearance on Fuller House.
Some of the new cast members of Fuller House are Michael Campion, Elias Harger, Dashiell and Fox Messitt, Soni Bringas, Juan Pablo Di Pace, and John Brotherton.
And apparently we’ll also be seeing Joey’s wife and kids in the upcoming season of Fuller House, Us Weekly reports. In the first season there was no mention of Joey’s wife and four kids. Jeff Franklin, the creator of Fuller House, who also worked on the original Full House series said this was due to timing. “It didn’t make it into the script, but at one point, we had him with a wife and kids back in Vegas,” Franklin said. Bob Boyett who executive produces Fuller House added “It just didn’t fit anywhere in the stories we developed. We had Joey — in the stories we were using him — come in for specific reasons. We just haven’t gotten to everything yet, and we don’t get to everything, even in the 13 episodes [of season 1].”
Coulier, even joked about his nowhere to be seen family saying “I’m hoping maybe this season I can meet my family, my wife and my kids that I’ve created.” Joey’s wife Ginger is being described as a magician who is enthusiastic, upbeat, and fun-loving. She’s also a bit clueless when it comes to parenting. Viewers will be introduced to the Gladstones when the family crashes the Full/Tanner/Gibbler Thanksgiving celebration.
As of now, there’s no premiere date for the second season of Fuller House.
