Netflix took it upon themselves to cancel the series Boots after one season. The series is a coming of age story that follows a gay teen named Cameron Cope who was bullied and later joins the Marine Corps alongside his best friend.
According to Deadline, despite the series being well reviewed and delivering respectable ratings, the series was still canceled. The series was created by Andy Parker (Boots, Pantheon), who drew inspiration from the memoir The Pink Marine written by Greg Cope White (Boots, Half Husband). McKinnon, Dominic Goodman (First Kill, He’s All That) who played Nash, Nicholas Logan (The Unbreakable Bunch, Parish) who played Sgt. Howitt, Kieron Moore (Blue Film, Code of Silence) who played Slovacek, Angus O’Brien (Elsbeth, FBI) who played Hicks, Liam Oh (Boots, Code 3) who played Ray McAffey, Rico Paris (La Lucha, Dog Whistle) who played Santos, Max Parker (Strictly Confidential, Blood, Sex & Royalty) who played Sgt.
