Get ready for another sci-fi and fantastically nostalgic acid trip down into the upside down as Netflix’s Stranger Things has released a teaser for its season three release which will debut in 2019. No clips, no sneak peeks of plots, but a mere sequence of title cards. Revealing what each of the 8-episodes may reveal or suggest what the point of reference is, how each episode is both telling a new story while reminding you of an old one. The titles tell us about that much, but something about the diehard fans of the ‘ 80s-tinged shows will be digging deep and find meaning with what the source material is being utilized for in the new tale.
Backed by the trademark synthesized intro music, the titles teased amongst the theme were: Suzie, Do You Copy? , The Mall Rats, The Case of the Missing Lifeguard, The Sauna Test, The Source, The Birthday, The Bite, and The Battle of Starcourt. The trailer ends with: “In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues…” And are presumably waiting with eager patience in what will be a season that hopefully continues but picks up the enchanting tale of a girl named eleven and the ragtag group of nerds that help her in her journey.
