According to Comicbook, Netflix has recently revealed the trailer for the third and final season of their animated series Hilda. Created by Luke Pearson (Adventure Time), the fantasy adventure series has captivated many fans worldwide and is now ready to release its final installment. The season will have eight episodes and premiere on the streaming platform on the seventh of December.

According to Comicbook, the synopsis provided by Sony Pictures states, “Hilda follows fearless blue-haired adventurer, inventively brought to life by Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us), as she travels from her home in a vast magical wilderness full of elves and giants, to the bustling city of Trolberg, where she meets new friends and mysterious creatures who are stranger – and more dangerous – than she ever expected. Hilda confidently reinvents the fantasy genre through female-forward storytelling, grounded in the timeless bedrock of Scandinavian folklore.”
The series cast includes Ramsey as Hilda, Ameerah Falzon (So Awkward) as Frida, Oliver Nelson (Home Fires) as David, Daisy Haggard (I Give It a Year) as Mum, Rasmus Hardiker (Thunderbirds Are Go) as Alfur, and many others.
According to Comicbook, the synopsis for the third season is as follows, “In the third and final season, which features Ramsey alongside Miriam Margolyes (Doctor Who), John Simm (Human Traffic) and Shirley Henderson (Stan & Ollie), our intrepid heroine is lured into a mystical realm that will lead her to a deeper understanding of her family’s hidden history and long-buried truths about herself.
