Netflix Reveals The Final Trailer For The Third And Final Season Of ‘Squid Game’

According to Deadline, Netflix has revealed the final trailer for the third and final season of Squid Game. This is the third trailer for the final season of the series to be released this year. In the new trailer, we see the protagonist, Seong Gi-hun played by Lee Jung-jae (The Face Reader) as he ponders his destiny and what is to come.

Squid Game is a South Korean survival drama were random individuals are placed in games to either forfeit their lives or have their debts cleared by winning a massive amount of cash.

Via Deadline, the trailer shows Gi-hun being brought out in a giant black gift box that the guards use for coffins for any fallen player. Curious and scared, the players approach and open the box, revealing Gi-hun inside. He wakes up and we see the start of a new game as a giant gumball machine dispenses red and blue balls representing the next challenges.

As per Deadline, Netflix teases that, “Picking up from Season 2’s devastating cliffhanger, Season 3 thrusts Gi-hun Player 456 back into the brutal heart of the games, determined to dismantle them once and for all. Still haunted by the betrayal and loss of his closest ally, Jung-bae Player 390, Gi-hun faces new perils — including the Front Man, who shockingly infiltrated their rebellion disguised as Player 001.”

According to Deadline, the cast joining the third season includes Yim Si-wan (Once Upon a Boyhood) as Myung-gi Player 333, Kang Ha-neul (When the Camellia Blooms) as Dae-ho Player 388, Park Sung-hoon (The Kidnapping Day) as Hyun-ju Player 120, Yang Dong-geun (Ruler of Your Own World) as Yong-sik Player 007, Kang Ae-shim (Tell Me What You Saw) as Geum-ja Player 149, Jo Yuri (Work Later, Drink Now) as Jun-hee Player 222, Lee Da-wit (The Terror Live) as Min-su Player 125, Roh Jae-won (Daily Dose of Sunshine) as Nam-gyu Player 124, and the pink guard No-eul played by Park Gyu-young (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay).

Squid Game is available to stream on Netflix with the third and final season premiering June 27.
