Netflix Reveals New Trailer For ‘Wolf King’ As Part Of The Streamer’s Geeked Week

The Netflix animated series Wolf King will be released on the streamer in 2025. The series is an adaptation of the Wereworld books written by Curtis Jobling (Frankestein’s Cat, Raa Raa The Noisy Lion). Netflix has released a new teaser as part of this year’s edition of Geeked Week, Deadline reports.

According to Deadline, Wolf King used to be a project with its information under wraps. The series was announced as part of a slate of European animated series in June of last year. According to Deadline, Wolf King is a series that focuses on the fantasy adventures of Drew Ferran, a teenager who comes of age and is discovered to be the last of a long line of werewolf creatures. Drew is the ruler of a land that is governed by Werelords. To reclaim his rightful throne, he is supposed to fight and abolish the tyranny of various Lion lords.

As stated beforehand, according to Deadline, Wolf King is one of the many series unveiled during Netflix’s fourth edition of Geeked Week. This edition will show fans exclusive news, including trailers, teasers and images from the most popular series right now. Some include Cobra Kai, Squid Game, One Piece, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Arcane, Black Mirror and many others.

Wolf King, According to Deadline, Wolf King is directed by Tom Brass (Captive State, Your Inner Fish) for Jellyfish Pictures. Producers are Tim Compton (House Of Anubis, Free Rein), Angelo Abela (Zero Chill, Free Rein), Jobling and Barry Quinn (Go Jetters, NumTums) for the UK indie company Lime Pictures.
