According to ComicBook, Netflix’s new animated series Twilight of the Gods by Zack Snyder (Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, Zack Snyder’s Justice League) has revealed a new trailer to showcase the new series. Snyder is known for working on the DC Cinematic Universe, with titles like Army of The Dead and 300. The new series takes Snyder’s spin on Thor, Loki, Odin and other Norse Gods in a more aggressive adaptation. The trailer provides a look into the series, featuring plenty of gore and nudity.

As per ComicBook, Netflix describes the series as follows: “Zack Snyder presents TWILIGHT OF THE GODS, an all-new daring and spectacular animated vision of Norse mythology. In a mythical world of great battles, great deeds and great despair, LEIF, a mortal King, is saved on the battlefield by SIGRID, an iron-willed warrior with whom he falls in love. This heroic story of love, loss and revenge, is a journey to Hell and beyond… across fantastical lands, battlefields fierce and bloody, and wars waged against Gods and demons.”
The confirmed voice cast for the series includes John Noble (The Demon Disorder, Star Trek: Prodigy) as Odin, Paterson Joseph (Wonka, The Beach) as Loki, Corey Still (Black Saturday, Dream Home) as Hrafnkel, Jamie Chung (Big Hero 6, The Gifted) as Hel, Jamie Clayton (Designated Survivor, The L Word: Generation Q) as The Seid-Kona, Kristopher Hivju (After Earth, Game of Thrones) as Andvari, Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead, Mile 22) as Inge, Peter Stormare (The Brothers Grimm, The Ritual Killer) as Ulfr, Pilou Asbæk (Aquaman and the lost Kingdom, Before it Ends) as Thor, Rahul Kohli (Death and Other Details, Shadow at the Door) as Egill and Stuart Martin (Army of Thieves, Miss Scarlet & the Duke) as Leif.
Twilight of the Gods premieres on Netflix on September 19.
