The upcoming animated Netflix series, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, has released a full-length trailer for the first season, according to Tyla.com. The first season is set to premiere on the streaming service platform on September 18. Created for television by Zack Stentz (Thor, Andromeda), the animated action series’ first season will consist of eight half-hour episodes for the streamer.
Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous is an adaptation series from the blockbuster film Jurassic Park. The series is set in the world of one of the film’s spin-off films, Jurassic World, and will center around six teenagers who have found their way to the island of dinosaurs and must make quick and fast decisions in an effort to survive. The series cast includes Raini Rodriguez (Paul Blart: Mall Cop), Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6, Titans), Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin, You), Paul-Mikél Williams (Westworld, Streetlights), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Glen Powell (Hidden Figures, The Dark Knight Rises), Kausar Mohammed (Silicon Valley, Speechless), and Sean Giambrone (Solar Opposites, The Goldbergs).
The streaming program will be executive produced by the likes of Frank Marshall (The Bourne Supremacy, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny), Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, Battle at Big Rock), Scott Kreamer (Fanboy & Chum Chum), Steven Spielberg (Jaws), and many more.
