Netflix’s political thriller The Night Agent has released a teaser trailer for its third season. The series follows a low level FBI Agent named Peter Sutherland played by Gabriel Basso (The Strangers: Chapter 2, A House of Dynamite), who gets pulled into a massive conspiracy involving a Russian mole and high-level government corruption. The third season will continue Sutherland’s journey as an FBI agent.
According to Tudum By Netflix, showrunner Shawn Ryan (S.W.A.T., The Night Agent), mentions that the new season will take fans on an adrenaline fueled thrill ride across Istanbul, Mexico City, Washington, New York, and the Dominican Republic. Agent Sutherland will also have a lot to deal with on his plate. This would include a dangerous conspiracy at the White House, a reporter with a hot tip and a murky past, a murder suspect trying to clear his name, and a mysterious father and son leaving a trail of bodies in their wake.
The teaser also introduces new characters that will be seen in the new season. Tudum By Netflix mentions, that the teaser gives the viewer a peek at Stephen Moyer (The Forsytes, Art Detectives) who was previoulsy announced to join the cast of the series. In addition to Moyer, there will also be two new actors joining the new season as well, those actors are Genesis Rodriguez (Moose Jaws, Lioness) and David Lyons (The Beast in Me, She Rides Shotgun). Ryan also mentions that Peter will recon with hard truths and confront the impact of what being a night agent has personally cost him and how it changed him for better or worse.
The cast of this series consists of Luciane Buchanan (Chief of War, The Tank) who plays Rose Larkin, Fola Evans-Akingbola (Film Club, Back in Action) who plays Secret Agent Chelsea Arrington, Louis Herthum (The Night Agent, Quantum Leap) who plays Jacob Monroe, Arienne Mandi (Your Friends & Neighbors, Chicago P.D.) who plays Noor Taheri, Sarah Desjardins (Tron: Ares, Dead Boy Detectives) who plays Maddie Redfield, Eve Harlow (Watson, The Edge of Sleep) who plays Ellen, Berto Colon (Undercard, Switch and Bait) who plays Solomon, and Phoenix Raei (Apple Cider Vinegar, The Twelve) who plays Dale.
The third season is set for streaming on February 19, 2026.
