Netflix has released the newest trailer for the upcoming sophomore season of Bridgerton. The streamer previously released new photos for the season towards the end of January.
In a tweet, Netflix posted the minute-long trailer alongside a caption that reads, “Love never plays by the rules. Bridgerton Season 2 premieres March 25.” The trailer featured a reprisal of most characters, including Jonathan Bailey’s (Crashing) Anthony Bridgerton, Pheobe Dynevor’s (The Colour Room) Daphne Bridgerton, and Nicola Coughlan’s (Derry Girls) Penelope Featherington.
The trailer teases a new relationship between Anthony and newcomer Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley (Sex Education), as well as the continuance of Penelope’s role as Lady Whistledown. This season will follow Anthony’s quest to find a suitable wife despite wanting anything but a love match.
Netflix released the official release date for season two of Bridgerton on the anniversary of the show’s debut – December 25.
