The original That ‘70s Show was a comedy that revolved around a group of teenage friends and their coming-of-age stories. The show was set in the decade of the ‘70s in Wisconsin.

In the sequel, it’s 1995, and Leia Forman, played by Callie Haverda (Shut Eye, The Lost Husband), wants her life to have more adventure, or at least she wants a best friend that isn’t her dad Eric. Leia then visits her grandparents, Red and Kitty, at Point Place where she finds what she’s looking for. Right next door lives Gwen, played by Ashley Aufderheide (Emergence, Going in Style), a rebellious and dynamic teenager.

With the help of Gwen and her friends, including her brother Nate, played by Maxwell Donovan (Gabby Duran & The Unsittables, Greenlit); his smart girlfriend Nikki, played by newcomer Sam Morelos; the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie, played by Reyn Doi (Side Hustle, Drama Club); and, the charming Jay, Leia realizes she could find adventure in the same place her parents did all those years ago. Excited about this new experience, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer. The basement is full of teens again and Kitty is happy the Forman house is now a home for a new generation.

Season one of That ‘90s Show is set to premiere on January 19 on Netflix. All seasons of That ‘70s Show are available to stream on Peacock. Don’t forget to watch the trailer below.
