Liz Feldman (No Good Dead, The Enigma with a Stigma) is back with Netflix for a new dark comedy series. Netflix just ordered the series All the Rage, created by Feldman and Kelly Hutchinson, Deadline reported.
The series will center on Emma and Eli, two old friends who reconnect after a long period apart. The pair find a new sense of purpose in joining forces to take down the man who was responsible for separating them in the first place.
All the Rage will be half-hour episodes. No other information has been shared yet about the series.
Feldman and Hutchinson will executive produce All the Rage with Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum of Gloria Sanchez Productions and Christie Smith of Rise Management.
The series executive producers will include Feldman, Hutchinson, Will Ferrell (Step Brothers, Elf), Jessica Elbaum (Judgment Day, Quiz Lady), presented by Gloria Sanchez Productions, and Christie Smith (The Rehearsal, No Good Dead), represented by Rise Management.
Feldman also created the Netflix show No Good Deed, which starred Lisa Kudrow (The Comeback, The Parenting) and Ray Romano (Running Point, The Best You Can). The streaming service paused No Good Deed more than a year ago.
She has been with Netflix since 2020, starting with her show One Big Happy. With this announcement, Feldman will be extending her contract with Netflix, which had previously been for six years. This means that Feldman isn’t going anywhere and fans can expect new series and films from her on Netflix.
Feldman released a statement, according to Deadline: “We’re thrilled to tell this completely made-up story about revenge inspired by our very real friendship of 30 years.”
Netflix Comedy Series Vice President, Tracy Pakosta, shared her thoughts: “All the Rage, which is sure to blend dark comedy and emotional depth like only Liz and Kelly can.
Hutchinson is represented by UTA, SEL Media Group, and Goodman Genow. Ferrell is represented by UTA, Mosaic, and Jackoway Austen. Elbaum is also represented by UTA.
