Netflix’s critically acclaimed series, Ozark, released the teaser trailer for its fourth and final season. The series is set to return in January.
The new teaser features key moments from past seasons, including Helen Pierce’s (Janet McTeer) death and Marty almost being executed by Del Rio. In a voiceover, Marty (Jason Bateman) talks about the snowball effect of one’s decisions. The clips run in between a scene of the Bryde family seemingly in a car accident, and the trailer ends, “No decision is reached by accident.”
The third season ended with a shocking moment in Helen’s execution in front of Marty and Wendy (Laura Linney). Navarro (Felix Solis) continues to do business with the Brydes. Season four will deal with the fallout as fans anticipate to see what happens to Marty and Wendy in the final season.
Season four is set to be split into two parts with seven episodes each, with part one coming in early 2022. Three new characters will be joining the series. Alfonso Herrera (Sense8) joins the cast as Javi Elizonndro, Navarro’s nephew looking for a moment to make a power move. Adam Rothenberg (Ripper Street) joins as Mel Sattem, an ex-cop turned private eye who comes to get Helen’s signature for her divorce but stumbles upon the Bryde’s mess. Katrina Lenk (The Get Down) will play Clare Shaw, the CEO of a leading biopharmaceutical company who gets involved with the Brydes and learns the costs of having power.
