Netflix Drops Teaser And Release Date For Tina Fey’s ‘Four Seasons’

Tina Fey’s (Mean Girls, Saturday Night Live) new Netflix series, Four Seasons, has set release date of May 1st in a first-look teaser. The Hollywood Reporter shared that the new series is based on the 1981 romantic comedy film, Four Seasons, created by Alan Alda (The Longest Ride, The Blacklist). The series will follow the storyline of three couples who vacation together, only to find out their vacation doesn’t go as planned when one of the couples announces their divorce.

Netflix released a compelling teaser that follows the original story with slight changes. As the teaser goes on, we are introduced to the star-studded cast. The couples band together to go on four different vacations, thinking they’re all great friends who found their soulmates. The couples attempt to have a good time but the action-packed teaser shows that they will face some challenges when it comes to their perfect vacation. Check out the teaser below!

Via The Hollywood Reporter, the series stars Steve Carell (The Office, Despicable Me), Will Forte (MacGruber, The Last Man on Earth), Colman Domingo (Sing SingThe Madness), Kerri Kenney-Sliver (Reno 911!, Bob’s Burgers), Marco Calvani (The View from Up Here, Borgia) and Fey. Guest stars in the series include Ashlyn Maddox (Law & Order, Ghost Story Chronicles), Cole Tristan Murphy (The Holdovers, Last Straw), Chloe Troast (Saturday Night Live, Sweethearts), Erika Henningsen (Hazbin Hotel, Harlem), Jack Gore (The Kids Are Alright, Ferdinand), Jacob Buckenmyer (The Undercover Squad, Coffee House Chronicles: The Final Movie), Julia Lester (Prom Dates, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Simone Recasner (The Big Leaps, Babes), Tommy Do (Hacks, Night Court) and Toby Edward Huss (The Adventures of Pete & Pete, King of the Hill).

According to The Hollywood Reporter Fey, Lang Fisher (Never Have I Ever, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), and Tracey Wigfield (Saved By The Bell, Four Weddings and a Funeral) will write, executive produce and serve as showrunners. Additional executive producers are Jeff Richmond (Mean Girls, 30 Rock), Eric Gurian (Mulligan, Girls5Eva), David Miner (Hacks, Mulligan), and Martin Bregman (Sea Of Love, The Shadow).
