‘NCIS’ Trio Back Together After A Decade: A Reunion For The Ages

The NCIS trio, which consists of Sean Murray (Hocus Pocus), Michael Weatherly (Bull) and Cote de Pablo (The Jury), have reunited after 10 years. According to Screenrant, the trio, played Tim McGee, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David was regarded as Gibb’s best team in the series. Screenrant states, ”They endured death, destruction, and even personal tragedies. Baked into it were their collective and separate dynamics with each other.” They have gathered and talked about their time together through the Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch podcast, and surprising details were revealed by Sean and Cote.

Screenrant notes that de Pablo said, “By the way, we haven’t been in the same room together in 10 years. 10 years. The three of us together, sitting down and actually talking. 10 years.” Murray responded, “I didn’t like do the math or anything, but I know when I see you guys that I feel really good.

According to Screenrant, while Weatherly and de Pablo have returned to NCIS since their departures, this is the first time they have all been together in ten years. This raises statements about the trio reuniting with each other in future series within the franchise, with one stating, ” It may even be for NCIS: Tony & Ziva’s benefit to bring in some familiar characters to the project to entice more viewers, especially since it won’t be broadcasting on CBS like the rest of the franchise.” The upcoming spinoff could lead the team to reunite with Gibbs, but no confirmation has been provided.

Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: the energy between Murray, Weatherly and de Pablo is still electric, and fans would undoubtedly welcome a return of the dream team. The upcoming spinoff series, NCIS: Tony & Ziva, will stream on Paramount+, but its release date has yet to be announced. The other 21 seasons of the franchise are also available on the streaming service.
