Vieira, who has been an anchor for Today, a host for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and was once on the View now has been given her own daytime talk show titled the Meredith Vieira Show.
The show will be on NBC starting September 2014. The set will look like her home and be taped in New York City. The show will be a variety that appeals to the everyday American ranging from celebrities to special interest pieces. “As a journalist on Today and 60 Minutes, I learned how to really listen to people and help give them a voice,” Vieira says while talking about her anticipation of the show.
Meredith Vieira started as a journalist 1979 and became known during her time at CBS. She was one of the original hosts for the View.
