National Geographic‘s Limitless with Chris Hemsworth has been renewed for a second season on Thursday, Comicbook.com reports. The Thor: Love and Thunder alumni Chris Hemsworth (Extraction, Thor: Ragnarok, Men in Black: International) released his reality show back in 2022, and he will be back once again with his adventures with body, health, and happiness.
According to Comicbook.com, Limitless With Chris Hemsworth is focused on The Avengers alumni actor as he shows viewers secrets for a healthier and fitter life. The first season, which has six episodes, focuses on the actor trying out on different topics like fasting and extreme temperatures for the body and to be healthy and strong. The second season will focus on similar topics and the actor will travel across the following countries with the production team given by the streamer: Italy, the U.K., Nepal, and Australia.
Hemsworth has quite a background in acting for many TV shows and movies. Future projects where he will be seen next include the prequel to the Mad Max: Fury Road, which is named Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. In an exclusive interview with the famous magazine GQ from 2023 shows how Hemsworth was challenged to film this movie. “I came into that film exhausted. I thought, ‘How am I going to get through this?'” Hemsworth explained, via ComicBook.com. “Week one of rehearsals with [Miller], all of a sudden it was this reigniting of my creative energy … [It was] by far the best experience of my career, and something I feel the most proud of. It made me think, the work isn’t what’s exhausting, it’s what kind of work it is, and how invested I am in it and if it is challenging in the right ways … I’m on the hunt for more George Millers. Or more of George Miller. If he’ll have me.”
Hemsworth also explored the topic of him possibly returning as Marvel’s fan-favorite character Thor Odinson if there was ever a fifth Thor film in an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com. “I mean you look at Thor one and two, they were quite similar. Ragnarok and Love & Thunder: similar. I think it’s just about re-inventing it,” Hemsworth explained. “And I’ve had such a unique opportunity even with [Avengers] Infinity War and Endgame to do very drastic things with the character; I enjoy that, I like keeping people on their toes, it keeps me on my toes, keeps me invested. And I’ve said this before: when it becomes too familiar, I think there’s a risk of getting lazy I think, like ‘Ah, I know what I’m doing,’ you know? So I don’t know – again, I don’t even know if I’m invited back. But if I was, I think it’d have to be a drastically different version – tone, everything. Just for my own sanity [laughs].”
Limitless with Chris Hemsworth‘s first season is currently available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
