Not a fan of the Super Bowl? Then how does Nat Geo Wild’s Fish Bowl, Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl or Hallmark’s Kitten Bowl sound?
According to Deadline, Nat Geo Wild will counterprogram Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl and Hallmark’s Kitten Bowl with a Fish Bowl. The bowl will feature a goldfish named Goldie: “I’m comfortable in my own scales, and have no doubt the Fish Bowl will be the talk of the town.”
EVP and General Manager of Nat Geo Wild Geoff Daniels said, “Goldie showed such promise in early casting auditions that we felt confident in the aquatic wonder’s ability to entertain and captivate an audience, for four long hours … while the most-watched television event of the year just happens to be taking place.”
The bowls will air as follows the Fish Bowl (Nat Geo Wild) on February 2 between 6-10 PM Eastern, the Puppy Bowl (Animal Planet) on February 2 at 3 PM Eastern, and the Kitten Bowl (Hallmark) at 12 PM Eastern.
