MTV has yet to announce whether or not the Scream series will be renewed for a third season. The network’s mystery drama is based on the popular horror movie which showed several knife-wielding serial killers going around a small town gutting people behind a creepy dark costume and ghost-like mask.
It’s still not known whether or not the show will be cancelled but according to TV Series Finale, during the Scream after-show, Scream After Dark!, MTV revealed that there would be a Scream Halloween special episode of the mystery thriller.
The Scream series cast includes Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, John Karna, Amadeus Serafini, and Carlson Young.
During episode 12 of the second season, it was revealed that Kieran Wilcox (Serafini) was the newest ghostface. The character was also Piper Shaw’s (Blaire) partner. Emma Duvall who is portrayed by Fitzgerald did not kill him but he was arrested by the police. Additionally, there was a strange phone call at the very end of the season finale.
