Fox is developing a new comedy starring Molly Shannon, former Saturday Night Live Alum.
Exclusively reported by Deadline, the show centers on Fiona (Shannon) who is at the top of her career and clashes with her at-home pregnant daughter.
Bruce McCulloch wrote the show. Both McCulloch and Shannon worked together on the 1999 movie Superstar, which McCulloch directed. McCulloch will be the show runner and executive producer. Shannon will also serve as producer. 20th Century Fox will produce with 3 Arts Entertainment. Greg Walter and David Miner from 3 Arts Entertainment will also executive produce.
Shannon will guest spot on ABC’s Super Fun Night, an arc on HBO’s Getting On, and feature Life After Beth.
